Weather was fantastic and the fall colors are starting to really kick in. We had a spirited group staying at the Calistoga Ranch and kept a pretty good pace as we biked up the Silverado Trail. A youthful group of motivated wine tasters awaited me on Saturday the 11th, and a really beautiful day appeared to be on tap for our Calistoga Sip & Cycle. After getting our bikes and gear in order we headed south on a rolling ride south on the Silverado Trail.

Two married couples, one each from KY and VA were on the road today. They did the full 18 mile loop. The day was glorious warm, but breezy and very comfortable to cycle. They found a fair amount of wine that they liked and made some wonderful purchases.
