Mustard Festival–January 30-March 27, 2010

Celebrate Napa Valley’s food, wine, art, agricultural and cultural bounties during the Mustard Season, January through March. Napa Valley Marathon–March 6, 2010

The Napa Valley Marathon is dedicated to fostering and promoting quality road racing in an inspiring setting. Known as the “biggest little marathon in the West,” the Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon has earned a reputation for outstanding runner support, attention to detail, and a beautiful point-to-point course.

Mustard, Mud & Music (Calistoga Jazz Festival)–March 6-7, 2010

A welcome sign of spring is Mustard, Mud & Music, a jazz and wine tasting festival that takes over the town’s scenic downtown area as a featured part of the Napa Valley Mustard Festival. Calistoga’s walkable Lincoln Avenue becomes one big jazz club as some of the Bay Area’s best musicians play while two dozen top-notch local offer tastes of their newest releases in stores, restaurants, public spaces, hotels and tasting rooms.

Taste of Yountville–March 20, 2010

A Taste of Yountville, an all-Yountville showcase, will feature traditional samplings of gourmet restaurant fare, olive oils, vinegars, mustards, fine wines, and micro-brews. Tasting tickets will be sold on-site. Live entertainment will filter throughout Yountville’s downtown area.

April in Carneros–April 17-18, 2010

April in Carneros is an exciting winery open house event featuring nearly 20 wineries.  Each will open their doors and invite visitors to join in on a variety of activities.  Wineries might feature food and wine pairings, live music, art or craft shows, special tastings (barrel, reserve, library, new release), discounts or special pricing, children’s activities and more.

Calistoga Wineries Spring Celebration–May 1, 2010

Visit and taste wines from eight different wineries in and around Calistoga.  Each winery will be offering something special and may include food, barrel tasting, live music, library wines and special deals!

Tour de Cure–May 2, 2010

Join us for the nation’s leading Tour de Cure – our 19th annual Napa Valley Tour on May 2, 2010!  Whether you’re a novice, occasional or expert cyclist, we have a route that matches your skill level.  Tour de Cure offers a memorable of day of cycling and fun in a gorgeous setting of vineyards and orchards in spring bloom.  You will also enjoy the personal satisfaction of completing a ride and doing your part in moving us closer to victories over diabetes.

Amgen Tour of California–May 16-23, 2010

The largest cycling event in America, the 2010 Amgen Tour of California is a Tour de France-style cycling road race, presented by AEG, that challenges the world’s top professional cycling teams to compete along a demanding course from May 16-23.

Holiday in Carneros–November 20-21, 2010

This is an exciting winery open house event featuring more than 20 wineries in Carneros. Each will open its doors and invite visitors to join in on a variety of activities. Wineries will feature food and wine pairings, live music, art or craft shows, special tastings (barrel, reserve, library, new release), discounts or special pricing, family activities and more.

Silver Pass Weekend–Date TBD (November 2010)

Join us at this fabulous annual event along Napa Valley’s Road Less Traveled.  There will be special tasting, library releases, barrel sampling, food and more offered to Silver Pass holders.

Wine Country Cajun Food & Music Festival–Date TBD (October 2010)

Napa Downtown proclaims ” Laissez les bon temps rouler! -Let the good times roll!” at its Wine Country Cajun Food & Music Festival. This event has established itself as a regional favorite and this FREE admission party on Napa’s First Street has grown with more entertainment, cooking demonstrations, great brews, awesome Cajun cooking to enjoy, wine tasting and fun activities for the kids.

SONOMA WINE COUNTRY EVENTS

32nd Annual Barrel Tasting Weekend–March 6-7 & 13-14, 2010

Barrel Tasting is not a food or themed event. It’s all about the WINE…many wineries offer futures on their barrel samples. This is a chance to purchase wine now, often at a discount, then come back to the winery when the wine is bottled, typically 12-18 months from now. Many wines are so limited, buying futures is your only chance to purchase them.

Harmony Festival–June 11-13, 2010

Now attracting over 25,000 people who participate every year, the festival has been a doorway for mainstream America to stream in and join the movement to support the positive planetary shift in creating a new world.  The Festival happens through networking groups, with community connection, collaboration and celebration, in the vibe of HARMONY. And at the Harmony Festival, it becomes obvious that we are all one.

Bodega Bay Seafood, Art & Wine Festival–August 28-29, 2010

More information regarding the bands appearing, foods being served, wineries and breweries participating, etc. will be available beginning in late March.

Sonoma Wine Country Weekend–September 3-5, 2010

Harvest Fair–October 1-3, 2010

Sonoma County Harvest Fair is a celebration of harvest featuring three full days of wine tasting with 150+ wineries, wine sales, chef demonstrations, microbrew tasting (Saturday only), farm and harvest agricultural activities for children and adults, the World Championship Grape Stomp, continuous live jazz, an art show, crafters pavilion, farm animals to meet, and much more.

Levi Leipheimer’s Gran Fondo–October 9, 2010
