Crush Season in the Wine Country
Date posted: October 22, 2009
Grapes are coming in fast and furiously to beat the fast approaching rains. Everywhere you see the 1/2 ton white bins that are used to carry harvested grapes. Recently on a Pedal N Paddle, we tasted juice right out of the fermenting bin, the wine maker literally dipping his wine glass in the for a sweet and bubbly concoction. This was at Cahill winery in the Green Valley appellation, Sonoma’s up and coming appellation with the new generation of wine makers making their mark. From Cahill we went on to Iron Horse and Russian River Vineyards before launching down the warm Russian River 2 hours Class 1 kayak adventure..

We spent 7 days in the Napa Valley area, & of course in those several days we did a lot of things. This tour hands down was my husband & I favorite. We would & already have recommended your service to many of our friends & family.
Our tour guides Randy & Shea were awesome, we couldn’t have ask for better. Very knowlegeable, on time & hilarious!!
Our first tour was Cahill, this was very personal & intimate. We loved the 2 german shorthaired pointers out front very family oriented.
The second tour was Russian River, very good, nice people. The lunch that was provided was amazing, our whole group throughly enjoyed the everything.
